| Business Development: |
Style-pd, Inc started its business in 2002. In the year 2005, another group company Stylepd/Sweden started its business in Stockholm. Style-pd group has been promoting designers and artists since 2003: organizing exhibitions during Swedish Style in Tokyo together with the Swedish trade council and the Swedish embassy in 2003, 2004, and 2005; curating T-shirt exhibition at Konstfack in Stockholm for designers and artists both from Japan and Sweden during Tokyo Style in Stockholm in 2004; curating a design exhibition Swedish Style in Milan in Lecco, Italy every second month in 2004, supported by the Swedish trade council and the embassy. Style-pd has been distributing design and art related products in Japan, but it has started distributing them in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland since the beginning of the year 2005 under the name Stylepd/Sweden. Style-pds another important work is to connect designers, artists, and producers. In 2005, Style-pd, for example, is arranging collaboration between a Swedish textile designer and Japanese porcelain company. With its recently upgraded website www.style-pd.com, Style-pd is trying to become a global hub for designers and artists not just in Sweden and Japan, but also in other countries.
