Tengner: I think it is quite difficult to categorise Japanese architecture. It appears to me that there is always conflict in Japan in terms of architecture - between Western and traditional Japanese. But Japanese architecture in general had a great influence on the world because of Tadao Ando, Toyo Ito, Kenzo Tange. Compared to Sweden, Japanese cities are chaotic, and Sweden is really organised. Since the condition is so different, it is hard to compare two styles.
Style-pd: Is there anything particularly you want to do in the future?
Tengner: My dream about the future is to have different tasks so that I won't get bored (laughs). And I want to build places that users and visitors really enjoy. It is so obvious, but we sometimes forget about it. When we build a house, for example, obviously the most important thing is that those who live there enjoy living there. Good architecture doesn't come from magazines and exhibitions. This is such an obvious thing, but at the same time it is also quite hard to achieve.
Conradsson: I think exactly the same way.
